Club Rules

  • All students of Humber Martial Arts, must pay for an annual membership and submit a completed application form. All members’ fees are to be paid on time. If for some reason they cannot be paid, make the necessary arrangements with your instructor before the payment is due. There is no refund or freezing whatsoever.

  • It is a legal requirement and therefore a condition of membership that you apply for your own insurance cover for the application of Martial Arts Practice (member to member liability).  If you wish to apply for insurance you can do so at your own convenience.

  • All students must be on time for each class. If you are unable to attend a class or arrive on time please be sure to notify your instructor in advance.

  • No shoes, jewelry, metal hair clips, rings, watches, etc may be worn inside the Dojo

  • Students must follow the conduct, as outlined by the instructor.

  • Personal cleanliness is essential for all students especially during sparring; nails must be clipped, feet and hands must be spotless and hair must not interfere with your training.

Club Rules

  • All PPE is to be worn at all times during sparring; the up keep of your PPE is your responsibility.  Humber Martial Arts does not take responsibility for your PPE.

  • Student uniform must be in a good state of repair and cleanliness.  For damaged uniform please seek a new item from your instructor.

  • No alcohol or drugs before class. No food, or smoking while inside the Dojo

  • Abusive language and or bullying are not tolerated.  You will be asked to leave.

  • Always let your Instructor know if you have some kind of difficulties such as knee or back pain..etc. Or if you are uncomfortable while in the dojo or club for any reason.

  • If on medication, don’t forget to bring your medication that maybe needed during the class.

  • Horseplay is not permitted

  • Ensure you bring a drink – you need to stay hydrated during class time.

  • Have fun and respect your fellow students.
