Mini Mentors
Building brighter futures for young minds
The Mini Mentors program is designed for students aged 7 - 10yrs and can help your child develop key skills, creating a solid foundation, which can be used as a tool for success throughout their life.
We can help your child find the best within themselves through the teachings of martial arts in a safe and responsible environment incorporating the Three C’s of martial arts:
-
Courtesy
-
Compassion
-
Confidence
Our teachings help to keep students physically fit, emphasising the importance of physical exercise and its role throughout their lifetime whilst having lots of FUN.
Young Leaders
Developing Life Skills and Leadership
The Young Leader Program at Humber Martial Arts is a FREE PROGRAM designed to expand on the LEADERSHIP QUALITIES that have been identified in a chosen student aged 11yrs and above.
This program is an extension to the syllabus and is a stepping stone to becoming a Junior Instructor (age and experience permitting).
Students will be invited to the program based on their performance and behaviour throughout the previous years’ service (limited numbers each year).
Junior Instructor
Leading by example
Our JUNIOR INSTRUCTOR program is designed to prepare and develop students towards the goal of running their own classes under the Humber Martial Arts name.
The candidate Junior Instructor will learn how to plan and execute lessons plans for fellow students of all ages and abilities in a professional and safe manner.
A Junior Instructor will progress to taking on a more active role with the club and will become an integral part of the Instructor team.
